RUSTON, Louisiana (Ticker) -- Trina Frierson had 19 points and eight rebounds as No. 12 Louisiana Tech downed Arkansas-Little Rock, 81-58.

The Lady Techsters (4-1) led by just 11 points at halftime but used a 25-5 run in the second half to put the game out of reach.

Amisha Carter recorded 16 points, 11 rebounds and three steals for Louisiana Tech, which dominated the boards, 53-25.

Lakiste Brooks chipped in 15 points off the bench and Amber Obaze added 13 for the Lady Techsters, who improved to 5-0 in the all-time series versus the Trojans.

Alicia Cash registered 21 points and seven rebounds to lead Arkansas-Little Rock (2-4), which shot just 38 percent from the floor in the second half.
