MANHATTAN, Kansas (Ticker) -- Kendra Wecker scored 24 points and No. 21 Kansas State used a dominant second half to post a 77-23 victory over Central Connecticut State.

After taking a 29-16 lead at halftime, the Wildcats (9-2) allowed just seven points in the second half, four off the Division I record for fewest points.

Wecker is averaging 23.3 points and 12.0 rebounds since returning from a sprained ankle that kept her out of action for nearly a month. She made 10-of-17 shots, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range, and grabbed 10 boards.

Wecker is a remarkable 19-of-29 from the arc this season.

The Wildcats were 10-of-15 from 3-point range in the second half while holding the Blue Devils to just three baskets in the final 20 minutes.

Brittney Dixon scored eight points and Gabriella Guegbelet had 10 rebounds for Central Connecticut, which had just eight assists against 30 turnovers and shot 9-of-44.
