Brand, Francis lead All-Rookie selections

NEW YORK (AP) -- Elton Brand and Steve Francis, who tied in the voting for NBA rookie of the year, head the league's All-Rookie squad.

Brand, who plays for Chicago, and Houston's Francis were unanimous choices, each getting 28 first-place votes and 56 points. They were joined Thursday on the first team by Lamar Odom of the Los Angeles Clippers, who had 55 points; Wally Szczerbiak of Minnesota (51) and Andre Miller of Cleveland (49).

Shawn Marion of Phoenix led second team with 34 points. He was joined by Chicago's Ron Artest, Denver's James Posey, Atlanta's Jason Terry and Orlando's Chucky Atkins.
