Rockets' Yao to star in video game

SAN MATEO, California (AP) -- Houston Rockets center Yao Ming has signed a two-year deal with Sorrent Inc. to develop a wireless basketball game.
"Wireless phones and wireless entertainment are very popular in China," the Chinese star said in a company announcement released Tuesday. "I've always loved video games."
The game, Yao Ming Basketball, will be a fast-paced game with three-dimensional animation and two-on-two action, the company said. Yao's likeness, including his characteristic playing style, will be incorporated into the game.
The game will be available in China this year.
