Bulls place Chandler on injured list Posted: Friday April 11, 2003 6:37 PMCHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago Bulls forward Tyson Chandler will miss the rest of the season after being placed on the injured list Friday with an inflamed esophagus. Chandler missed two games last week because of the illness, and sat out the second half of Tuesday's win over Indiana. Chandler, the No. 2 pick in the 2001 draft, is averaging 9.2 points and 6.9 rebounds. The Bulls activated center Dalibor Bagaric, who missed 10 games with a sprained left ankle. |
