(AP) -- Detroit Pistons guard Chauncey Billups turned his left ankle early in the fourth quarter of a 98-87 victory over Philadelphia on Tuesday night and had to be helped off the court. Pistons spokesman Kevin Grigg said Billups sprained his ankle. Billups did not return. After Billups made a jumper on the left wing to give Detroit a seven-point lead, he landed on the foot of 76ers guard Eric Snow and fell to the floor. When Billups left the opening game of the Eastern Conference semifinals series he had 24 points.
He scored 77 points in the final two games of the first-round
series against Orlando.
