NEW YORK (CNNSI.com) -- Sheryl Swoopes of the Houston Comets swooped up the most votes for the second WNBA All-Star Game.

Swoopes was the leading vote-getter, receiving 171,576 votes for the game. More than 2.4 million votes were cast in internet balloting and in arenas, almost double the 1.25 cast a year ago.

Swoopes will be joined on the Western Conference starting lineup by teammates Cynthia Cooper and Tina Thompson along with Lisa Leslie of Los Angeles and Tina Penicheiro of Sacramento.

The coaches in each conference will pick the reserves. Richie Adubato of New York and Van Chancellor of Houston will coach the teams.
