Training camp day one

Wednesday (May 3) was the very beginning of preseason, and it was full to the last drop. It started with me having to wake up at 6 a.m. for physicals in Bountiful, Utah, which is approximately 30 minutes outside of the Salt Lake City.

When I arrive at the clinic at 7:30 a.m. it was obvious that no one would be around for at least another hour or so. The place was a ghost town. But the doctor was very prompt and to the point, and I was outta there like a fat rat.

After the physicals were over, I went to Einstein Bagels to get a bite to eat because I couldn't eat anything after midnight the night before. In a hurry as usual I went back to the Delta Center to be on time for media day, in which all of the press you can imagine gets to have a field day on the athletes. I always try to avoid the controversial questions, and it seems as though they always ask those first. Not!

Two hours into media day, we head to the court to run around, break out a sweat, and get use to the other players. Oh! And to get ready for two practices a day from here on out.

Days two to four

These days all seemed to run right into each other. Mainly, because the schedule for each day were the same.

8:30am - Treatment
9:00am - Get taped
9:40am - Stretch
10:00am - 12:00pm - Practice (Delta Center)
12:00pm - 1:00pm - Stretch down and treatments
2:30pm - Treatment
3:00pm - Get taped
3:40pm - Stretch
4:00pm - 6:00pm - Practice (Delta Center)
6:00pm - 7:00pm - Stretch and treatment

Geez, can we go home now!

Amen and God Bless!

-- Adrienne
