SYDNEY, Australia (AP) -- A unifying bout in the 140-pound boxing class between dual WBC and WBA champion Kostya Tszyu and IBF titleist Zab Judah will go ahead in October or November, Tszyu's promoter said Tuesday.

Vlad Warton, promoter for the Russian-born Australian boxer, said the Tszyu vs. Judah fight would proceed if both men win mandatory defenses June 23 at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut.

Tszyu is scheduled to defend his WBC belt against Germany's Oktay Urkal next month, while Judah is set to defend his IBF title against Allan Vester.

Warton said all parties involved in a Tszyu vs. Judah promotion had agreed terms and were expected to formally sign the deal.

"A deal has been struck ... in the event Kostya and Zab are victorious against their mandatory contenders, the [unification] fight will proceed around October or November," Warton was quoted saying by the Australian Associated Press.

He said both the Mohegan Sun Casino and Madison Square Garden in New York were potential venues for the unification bout.
