Oh Ricky, you’re so fine...

Williams rushed into the record books in storybook style

By the time Ricky Williams capped his remarkable career with the 1998 Heisman Trophy, the dreadlocked running back owned 20 NCAA records. Among the records that the 5-foot-10, 244-pound Williams set: Most rushing yardage in a career (6,279), most all-purpose yardage (7,206), most rushing touchdowns (72), most touchdowns (75) and most yards per carry (6.27). In his last college game, Williams busted out a 259-yard performance against Texas A&M to erase any doubts about the quality of his game.
