McDonald resigns as Arkansas' receivers coach |

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) -- Arkansas coach Bret Bielema has announced the resignation of receivers coach George McDonald.
Bielema says McDonald, who was hired by the Razorbacks last month, left the school to "pursue other career opportunities" and wished him luck "as an offensive coordinator at a major university."
McDonald spent the last two seasons as the receivers coach at Miami, and he coached for two seasons with the Cleveland Browns before his time with the Hurricanes. He's also coached at Minnesota, Western Michigan and Stanford among other schools.
Bielema announced McDonald's departure on Tuesday.
