FAISALABAD, Pakistan (AP) -- Heavy fog canceled play on the first day of the third and decisive test between Pakistan and Zimbabwe on Thursday.

Dense fog enveloped the field. New Zealand umpire Dough Cowie and Salim Badar made inspections every half and hour. But not a single ball could be bowled.

Zimbabwe leads the three-match series 1-0 after winning the first test by seven wickets. The second test also was marred by dense fog in Lahore and 13 hours were lost in the drawn game due to poor visibility and fog.
