SINGAPORE (AP) -- The West Indies, led by centurion Ricardo Powell, beat India by four wickets to win the three-nation Coca Cola Singapore Challenge Cup in Singapore on Wednesday.

The West Indies scored 255 for six in 47.4 overs in reply to India's 254 for six in 50 overs after winning the toss.

The Indians got their breakthrough when Debasis Mohanty got rid of openers Sherwin Campbell (1) in the 2nd over and Ridley Jacobs (20) in the 12th.

Spinner Nikhil Chopra then took care of Jimmy Adams (21) and then Brian Lara (18) in two overs. Lara was bowled on an inside edge when he attempted a third consecutive four.

The 20-years-old Powell scored his first one-day century, hammering Indian spinners in the middle overs. His knock included nine fours and eight sixes.

He also won the man of the match and the man of the series award. He scored 221 runs in four matches.

Earlier, Rahul Dravid scored an unbeaten century to lead India to 254 for six in the allotted 50 overs.

West Indies won the toss and asked India to bat. The decision paid off when Sachin Tendulkar was removed for a duck off Walsh in the first over and his opening partner Sagaoppan Ramesh (13) was gone off Reon King in the 10th over with just 27 on the board.

Dravid, who has had a bad patch recently, and Saurav Ganguly gave India the stability it needed for a respectable score. The pair put on 78 runs before Ganguly was removed for 46 in the 27th over off Nehemiah Perry. India soon lost Vinod Kambli (1) in the 29th over.

Dravid and then Nikhil Chopra put on 102 runs to power the innings again. The hard-hitting Chopra scored 60 off 61 that included three sixes and fours each before he became Perry's third victim of the day.

Dravid's unbeaten 103 came off 124 balls and included eight boundaries and two sixes.

Perry was the most successful West Indian bowler, but also its most costly. His 10 overs cost 65 runs.

The final was replayed Wednesday after rain and a soggy outfield prevented play from continuing Tuesday.
