CENTURION, South Africa (Reuters) -- Paceman Allan Donald has made himself available for the two test matches South Africa will play on its tour of India starting next month.

Donald announced at the weekend he would take a six-month break from international cricket, with the rider that he would still decide whether he was going to India.

"I got a call from Donald last night, regarding India, and he told me he is available for selection for the test matches," South African team manager Goolam Rajah said Tuesday. "He won't play in the one-dayers.

"He sounded very enthusiastic and committed to the tour, and we as a team are looking forward to having him on board."

Donald has a total of 290 wickets in test cricket and is set on becoming the first South African to reach the 300 mark.
