"I still have some good cricket in me and I will concentrate on the World Cup," United News of India quoted Srinath as saying in Bangalore, the capital of southern Karnataka state. England will host the next World Cup in 2003. Srinath, 33, made his test cricket debut in 1991 against Australia in Brisbane. He claimed 232 test wickets in 64 tests at an average of 30.47. He has taken five wickets in an innings 10 times and 10 wickets in a test once. He averaged 28.79 in one-day internationals, claiming 276 wickets in 204 matches. Srinath had stopped playing one-day internationals two years ago and was concentrating on test cricket. He, however, changed his mind and decided to restrict himself to playing the shorter version of the game.
