Prologue: Saturday, July 11 - 3.5 miles - Posted: Friday, July 10, 1998 Prologue DublinFrom Trinity College (XVIII century), where Swift and Oscar Wilde studied, to O' Connell street, of which the name evokes the most famous Lord (mayor) of the Irish capital, the prologue will allow the people of Dublin to discover the Tour . An original circuit in the city of pubs. A lively warm and welcoming city. Speeds close to 52 kph are expected when the 189 riders rush individually through the center of the city in a short race against the clock to find a leader. The 5.6-km course starts outside Trinity College and finishes in O'Connell Street.
