Police headquarters of the Somme department and capital of the Picardy region, Amiens is dominated by the majestic tower of it's cathedral, the highest in all of France (112 meters). Victor Hugo called it "pure marvel." It was here at Amiens that Jules wrote "Extraordinary Voyages."

An old stronghold and clothing center during the Middle Ages, Maubeuge began in the 7th century and was centered around a monastery for women.

Climbs: Km 35.1 - Cappy Climb: 0.6 km at 7%.

Start: Mail Albert I next to #45 (Mail Clinique)
Finish: Avenue Jean Jaurès (RN 49)
