GARDANNE, France (Reuters) -- The new Danish team CSC-World online had a dream start to its European season with a fine double in the 149km Grand Prix d'Ouverture cycling race Tuesday.

Denmark's Jakob Pill won ahead of his teammate and compatriot Nicolai-Bo Larsen in three hours 32 minutes 18 seconds, while team leader, Frenchman Laurent Jalabert, was the most active rider of the day.

Former world number one Jalabert broke clear on the only hill of the day and remained on his own for 35kms before being caught.

Pill and Larsen took the opportunity to attack in turn with Frenchmen Florent Bard and Christophe Oriol. Larsen led the way until the finish, leaving his teammate to outsprint the French duo.
