Cornell coach Steve Donahue joined the show to talk about the Big Red's chances in the Sweet 16.

Donahue comments on his team's talent level. "The three main guys (Ryan Wittman, Louis Dale and Jeff Foote),  they're not mid-major players. They're high-major players."

Donahue said Wittman, Dale and Foote could probably start on any team in the nation.

Dan asked if Donahue thinks he can beat Kentucky. "I do," Donahue said. "I have great faith in this group. Maybe I'm drinking the punch too much, but they make me believe. ...
This is not an overnight success. If you watch, you understand we're ready for this moment."

Donahue, who is reportedly a candidate for other jobs, said that even though he's losing eight seniors, he thinks the program will remain strong. Donahue said that he gets emotional thinking about the loyalty Cornell had with him.
