Dan thinks that part of the problem for Reggie Bush is the huge expectations everyone had after he graduated USC. He was the No. 2 overall pick, Heisman Trophy winner and an endorsement machine.

But is he a bust? He had two punt return touchdowns against the Vikings on Monday night in a losing effort. But he can't run between the tackles. He always tries to bounce outside.

The other complicating factor is how much Bush makes. Is he just a $50 million punt returner? Or do his gaudy receiving stats justify his salary? Through five games, Bush has 38 catches for 321 yards. That means he's on pace for over 100 catches and 1,000 receiving yards. Not too bad. If he had been a second-round pick he'd be a success.
