Oregon coach Chip Kelly joined the show to talk about his former quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, who just joined Mississippi and will likely play this season.
Dan asked if it was a hard decision to cut Masoli. "No, we have standards here at school," Kelly said. "It was plain and simple. Straight forward."
Kelly said he told Masoli if he plead guilty, he's off the team. So it was an easy thing to do.
Kelly said he talked to Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt about Masoli and his character. He wouldn't share the exact details.
Dan asked Kelly what he thinks of Masoli as a person. "He's made some bad decisions, but he's not a bad kid," Kelly said.
Kelly also talked about conference realignment and Oregon's pants next season. Kelly said he wants camoflage pants so no one can see them. |
