Boomer Esiason said he could understand why Kurt Warner contemplated retirement after seeing Anquan Boldin lying motionless on the field. The game is scary. Players are truly at risk of a serious injury at any time.
Esiason also said Warner had a reason to feel guilty. He threw that pass to Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin only to pad his stats. It was a stupid pass.
Esiason says the game is much more violent today than it was 10 years ago when he retired. Boomer said the NFL is seriously concerned about its safety image. Mothers don't want their kids playing football if they see devestating injuries.
Esisason had some interesting things to say about Adam Jones. Apparently, Jones was playing this insult game with his bodyguard and it got out of control. Esiason says Pacman has to be much more careful. |
