SI.com's Peter King has serious concerns about the Cowboys. He says Wade Phillips hasn't instilled a sense of urgency in his team. King won't call him Barry Switzer, but he's headed in that direction.

King said several players in the locker room are concerned about the attitude. Expectations might have caused problems.

King was also concerned about Tony Romo's propensity to fumble. King says the Dallas QB has to go to the Tiki Barber school of learning to hold on to the ball.

King had interesting comments on the Cowboys' Adam Jones. Apparently, Jones has four bodyguards. And he still got in trouble. It will be interesting to see what the NFL does about Jones.

Some more nuggets from King:

1. Dan asked King who the No. 2 team in the NFL is (Giants are No. 1). King said the Titans, because of the defense. King was, however, a little worried that the Titans may not be able to last 16 games playing this physically.

2. King doesn't think Reggie Bush is much faster than the guys chasing him. That's the difference between Bush and Gale Sayers. Bush does some things very well, but he's not quite what the Saints wanted him to be when they drafted him. King talked to Bush and said the Saints RB is more accepting that he's not going to be an every-down star.

3. King said he knew Matt Ryan was different from the first time he met him. Ryan showed up at an interview wearing a suit when King thought he could have been wearing sweats. King said Ryan told him that he studied Tom Brady and Peyton Manning press conferences and wants to be like those guys with the media. In some ways, Ryan has exceeded Peyton Manning's rookie season.
