Reggie Miller called the outdoors game at Indian Wells Tennis Center between the Suns and Nuggets. Reggie said it was unseasonably cold. The players were feeling it -- they were 2-for-24 from 3-point range. And Charles Barkley and he were freezing.

Reggie said both the Suns and Nuggets are trying to re-define themselves. They both have to get tougher to win the Western Conference.

As usual, Reggie weighed in on a number of topics.

1. Reggie is proud of his hometown Dodgers for throwing at the Phillies. He's psyched they showed their toughness despite being down 0-2 in the series. (Reggie is actually an Angels fan)

2. Reggie talked about teams fighting. Reggie was at that Pacers-Pistons melee in Detroit. Miller said it can get ugly really fast and these fights can have serious ramifications.

3. Reggie has the Celtics in his next game for TNT. Dan is giving him a hard time for turning down Boston and having a shot at a ring.
