Colt McCoy is one smooth college quarterback. Here are some tidbits from his interview with Dan:

-- McCoy doesn't believe in the Sports Illustrated cover jinx and isn't worried about it.

-- McCoy said Vince Young is the greatest quarterback in the history of college football.

-- McCoy said he doesn't know who the best quarterback in the Big 12 is. He said wait to see who wins the conference.

-- Dan asked him the last time he signed an autograph. His professor asked him after class just yesterday.

-- Colt said he's definitely going to be back in Austin for his senior year. He seems to have no interest in leaving early for the NFL.

-- Dan asked him how important being a leader is for him. McCoy said it's huge and credited the Longhorns for their resiliency.

-- McCoy said he tries to wear white or grey, because coach Mack Brown gets mad if he's wearing red. Dan said he's wearing burnt orange for the interview. I'm in the studio today. It's absolutely true.
