Peter King has a number of interesting angles on today's big NFL stories ...

-- Brett Favre told King that he did not give the Lions any strategy before their game against the Packers. And King heard from someone inside Detroit's organization that it didn't happen as FOX's Jay Glazer's reported.

King plans to look into it more this week. He agrees with Dan that Glazer has been dead-on this year, so you certainly can't discount this story.

-- King says the Cowboys should have gone with Brooks Bollinger over Brad Johnson at QB because the offensive line can't protect. If Romo can play at all, the 'Boys have to use him.

-- Jerry Jones said emphatically that Wade Phillips' job is not in danger. King says that Jones told him emphatically two weeks ago that the Cowboys wouldn't trade for a receiver. And they did, so you never know with Jerry. Jones basically reserves the right to change his mind.

-- If the Cowboys lose to Tampa Bay, King thinks Phillips could be fired.

-- Aaron Rodgers is out-playing Peyton Manning. King says it wasn't even close yesterday in the Colts-Packers game. King wonders if the Colts are going to give Manning the protection he needs.

-- King points toward Indianapolis at Tennessee next Monday night as a huge game from several angles. It could signify the end of Indy's dominance of that division.
