The NBA season starts tonight. Reggie Miller is calling the Cavaliers-Celtics game on TNT. Here's Reggie's takes on the upcoming season.

-- Reggie still likes the Celtics in the East. He thinks Kevin Garnett's leadership is enough to keep them on top despite every team gunning for them.

-- Reggie likes the Rockets in the West. They have a Big Three just like Boston. If Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady stay healthy, and Ron Artest doesn't implode, they'll be good. He likes their defense.

-- The Cavs are moving in the right direction, since they have Ben Wallace and Wally Szczerbiak for a whole season. Reggie says that GM Danny Ferry has done a lot to surround LeBron James with talent.

-- The Lakers have to get tougher. Reggie thinks having Andrew Bynum back will help, even though there is the potential he won't jell with Pau Gasol.

-- Dan asked Reggie about different prop bets. Here are Reggie's picks for the season:

MVP -- LeBron James, Cavaliers
Rookie of the Year -- Michael Beasley, Heat
Scoring champ -- LeBron James, Cavaliers
Assist champ -- Chris Paul, Hornets
First coach to be fired -- George Karl, Nuggets
