Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim wasn't surprised Donovan McNabb didn't know there were ties in regular-season NFL games -- because Boeheim himself didn't know that. The hoops coach says it must be a Syracuse thing.
Dan asked Boeheim if Indiana had a do-over, would it have kept Bob Knight? Boeheim said using 20-20 hindsight, ya, it didn't turn out so good. But you never know. He said for every Indiana situation, there's another team that did the right thing letting a coach go.
Boeheim isn't exactly all over recruiting via text messaging. He said he can't figure out how to text at all. He had no idea what "BFF" or "LOL" was.
