Dustin Pedroia got 16 of the 28 first-place votes for American League MVP.

You  have to give the Dallas Morning News' Evan Grant credit. He didn't put Dustin Pedroia in the top 10 on his AL MVP ballot and had the guts to join the Big Show on WEEI in Boston to defend his choice. The Boston guys tear him apart, but Grant fights back. Warning: this becomes a very ugly argument.
