Dan said that when Donovan McNabb said he didn't know about regular-season ties, his NBC partner Jerome Bettis immediately said McNabb wasn't kidding. The Eagles quarterback didn't know.

Bettis blamed Andy Reid for not helping out his quarterback and he's not surprised McNabb had never thought about ties.

Bettis thinks the Titans will overlook an opponent at some point this season. But probably not the Jets. Bettis says Tennessee's defense is playing well enough to win, but maybe not well enough to win it all. Bettis says they're a bend-but-don't-break defense.

Bettis and Dan also got into Notre Dame's issues. Bettis says his alma mater has a young, promising team. Dan asked Bus which would be better: Pittsburgh winning or Notre Dame winning. Bettis chose the Irish.
