Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops joined the show after the Sooners' 65-21 win over Texas Tech on Saturday.
Stoops had some interesting things to say about the latest BCS rankings. He said Texas is ahead of Oklahoma because the Longhorns beat the Sooners, then shouldn't Texas Tech be ahead of Texas for the same reason?
And shouldn't all three Big 12 teams be ahead of Florida, who lost at home to an unranked team?
Stoops thinks if Oklahoma wins the Big 12 championship it deserves to play for a national title.
Stoops had somewhat ambivalent things to say about a playoff. He is definitely for a playoff system, but he doesn't want to lose the bowl structure, because teams get a lot out of those games.
Dan said you could turn the bowl games into playoff games. Stoops said that would work, but it will limit how much time fans spend at these bowls and get to enjoy that experience.
