Dan asked Lakers forward Pau Gasol about the stereotype that he is soft. Gasol says he doesn't care what other people think. Gasol says he has a lot of attributes and he's proud of his game.

Gasol said some people think he's tough, some don't. He doesn't read the papers any more, because he doesn't want to hear any criticism. All he cares about is what the team and his coaches think.

Dan also asked Gasol who is a better flopper, him or David Beckham, who he knows from Lakers games and Spain. Gasol pointed out that soccer players are getting hit by little guys, and he's getting hit by guys like Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard.

Gasol says when he and his brother Marc play one-on-one, they go at it. He readily admitted he was very competitive with his brother. He said their games would be entertaining to watch for the public.
