Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend, filled with food and sports. Here are some of the big topics that emerged this weekend and should make for a very interesting week ahead:
-- Oklahoma beat Oklahoma State 61-41 and jumped to No. 2 in the BCS. The Sooners now have a chance to play for the Big 12 title and a shot at the national title game. Texas and Texas Tech have a bona fide reason to complain. Should make for some interesting calls on the show this week.
-- Sooners quarterback Sam Bradford might have taken over the lead in the Heisman race by completing 30-of-44 passes for 371 yards and four touchdowns on Saturday. He also looks like a potential top-three pick in the NFL.
-- Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators looked impressive in their 45-15 win over Florida State. Tebow threw three touchdowns and ran for one in the blow-out.
-- Notre Dame gained 91 yards in its 38-3 blowout loss to USC. Will Charlie Weis survive?
-- Don't forget about Alabama. The No. 1 team in the land beat Auburn 36-0 and has momentum heading into the SEC Championship Game.
-- Plaxico Burress is in hot water after reportedly shooting himself in the leg in a Manhattan club on Friday. The Giants receiver will be charged with criminal possession of a weapon and his NFL future is murky.
-- The Steelers put a beat-down on the Patriots. Did you see Ryan Clark's hit on Wes Welker? Ouch.
-- The Panthers won a 35-31 thriller over the Packers, helping them stay in the hunt in the NFC South. Steve Smith had a couple of great catches to help Carolina outlast Green Bay.
-- The Colts won their fifth straight despite failing to score an offensive touchdown. They beat the lowly Browns 10-6 and are now in good position for a wild-card spot because of their soft schedule ahead.
