SI.com's Don Banks covered the Eagles-Cowboys on Sunday and joins the show to break down all the action on what has become Black Monday in the NFL.

-- Banks was surprised the Jets let Eric Mangini go so quickly. Weeks ago he was a candidate for the coach of the year. But the problem was all the money New York spent this offseason. The Jets went all in and came short.

-- Re: Brett Favre, Banks says "absolutely there is regret" in New York. Banks thinks that he could very well be one-and-done. He says that Favre always sounds done at this time of the year.

-- Banks says that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is talking about continuity. Banks thinks it would be a mistake for them to keep Wade Phillips. Phillips isn't the man to run this team.

-- Banks says don't discount the Panthers in the NFC.

-- Banks likes all three of the teams at the bottom of the bracket in the AFC -- Indy, Baltimore and San Diego.

-- Banks says his gut feeling is Bill Cowher could return because the money will be huge. He doesn't think Cowher will ever get a better offer than this offseason.

-- Banks thinks that Marvin Lewis is safe. Herm Edwards' fate is in the new Chiefs GM's hands. Banks thinks the Raiders' Tom Cable has a good chance to return to Oakland.
