Colt McCoy's Texas Longhorns beat Ohio State in dramatic fashion, 24-21. Here are some highlights of his interview with Dan:

-- McCoy said Ohio State had the best defense the Lonhorns had seen all season. McCoy said they couldn't do what they normally do because there were so many areas of the Buckeyes defense they wanted to avoid. McCoy said they didn't necessarily want to throw 58 passes.

-- McCoy said that coach Mack Brown challenged the team before the bowl to be up for it, even though they weren't playing for the national title. McCoy said Texas was up for the game.

-- Dan asked McCoy about comments about Florida's Tim Tebow being the fourth best QB in the Big 12. McCoy wouldn't get into it too much. He said he has a lot of respect for Tebow.

-- McCoy talked about the bad interception. He said he had the right read, but threw off the back foot. But McCoy said the most important throw is always the next throw.

-- McCoy sheepishly confirmed that was his girlfriend in the stands. Dan thought she had a better game than Colt did.
