Joe Alexander won't participate in the Slam Dunk contest.

Dan talked to Joe Alexander about why he's not in the NBA's Slam Dunk Contest. Vanilla Sky was left out of the annual competition.
Alexander sounded devastated.
"It just sucks because I put together some pretty cool dunks," Alexander said.
Portland's Rudy Fernandez, Orlando's Dwight Howard, Memphis' Rudy Gay and New York's Nate Robinson will be in the contest.
Alexander says he likes Gay, because he thinks the Grizzlies star will be fired up.
Dan asked Alexander who has surprised him in the NBA. He said Corey Maggette shocked him by how fast he was. Alexander was surprised by how big Kevin Garnett is. "He's huge," Alexander said.
Alexander says he sounds like he's holding something back for next year's slam dunk contest. So don't get too upset Vanilla Sky fans. |
