Suns star Steve Nash joined the show to discuss Phoenix's issue and what the rest of the season holds.
-- Dan asked Nash what is different this year in Phoenix.
"We've had so many changes," Nash said. "Twelve months ago there was three of us [who are playing here now]," Nash said.
-- Nash said the Suns are trying to get back to the fast-paced style. Nash said that it's going to take time to make that work.
Nash said coach Terry Porter probably went too far tailoring their style to fit Shaquille O'Neal, to the detriment of other players. Nash said the team is trying to find the right balance.
Nash said Porter is getting more comfortable with the team.
-- Nash said it's difficult knowing a player might be traded. It makes for a tough locker room. But Nash said don't count the trade as a done deal. "It's very possible that nothing happens," Nash said. He thinks they have to enjoy what they have and see what happens. "If it happens, it happens," Nash said. |
