Will Ferrell dropped by to talk about the craft of acting with his fellow thespian. And they got into a lot of sports as well.
Ferrell is apparently playing tennis against Mats Wilander on Saturday in L.A. to raise money for a school. He doesn't want to scare Wilander, so he's not going to intiimdate him with a Bjorn Borg-like headband.
Ferrell said he topped out at 135 mph when he was race car driving for the movie Talladega Nights. He said he thought he could go faster if he got used to it.
Dan asked him the most athletic SNL alum. Ferrell said Adam Sandler could hoop it up, and Mike Myers was good at hockey. He said Sal Bando, the former Major Leaguer, was actually in the first season.
Ferrell is happy about USC's success in the NFL draft. He said the program has finally turned around since they started taking his advice. |
