NBC's Tiki Barber joined the show to talk NFL and the Kentucky Derby.
Barber had an interesting perspective on Michael Vick. Barber said that famous people get in trouble all the time. But often they just hurt themselves. Barber said Vick's problem is he hurt others ... in this case dogs.
Barber agreed with Dan that Barber would be very wise to associate himself with Tony Dungy.
Barber was shocked when Dan told him there are rumors Brett Favre may return. Barber said that Favre better be careful, because if he comes back, he might be known for his post-Packers career instead of all the great things he did in Green Bay.
Dan also got into the issue of high-priced rookie quarterbacks. Tiki was there when Eli Manning arrived. Barber was upset because when Manning came in, Kerry Collins had to go. Also, Barber said Eli struggled when Barber was at the peak of his career. But Barber says that Eli is now a dominator in the Giants locker room.
Barber talked about some of his tricks to doing the Kentucky Derby red carpet. He sounded like he didn't quite know who some of the celebrities were. |
