Mavericks owner Mark Cuban joined the show to discuss sports blogs and more.
-- Cuban said there are so many blogs, everyone has to really work hard to stand out. "The shortcut is just to make something up," Cuban said.
Cuban said that bloggers will claim an inside source when it's not legitimate.
He also blamed traditional media for not trusting their own sources and abilities and following every blog rumor.
-- Cuban lets all bloggers in to cover his game. Cuban said he can't differentiate between good bloggers and bad bloggers.
-- Cuban says he watches players' Tweets very closely.
“Following the Tweets of free agents is like the best thing ever. It gives you such insight into players and their minds.” Cuban said.
He said he recently saw Kevin Durant was in the weight room at 7 a.m. Cuban said he likes a player like that.
-- Cuban said the Mavs and Lakers did talk about a straight-up Kobe Bryant for Dirk Nowitzki trade. But Cuban paused. He said if he had said yes at first, the deal might have had a chance. Cuban said it got to the point where he was talking to Lakers owner Jerry Buss. When owners talk to other owners, it's serious.
-- Cuban also explained why he traded Steve Nash. He said the coaches were about to cut Nash's minutes because they were afraid he'd break down.
-- Cuban said the key to drafting is having a psychological interview. Cuban pointed to the success they had taking Devin Harris, who did well in an interview.
