Kevin O'Neill not worried about penalties coming down at USC

New USC coach Kevin O'Neill joined the show to discuss his new gig.

-- O'Neill said when he was offered the job, he took it immediately. "To go from being a pro assistant to head coach at USC was a good move," O'Neill said.

-- O'Neill said that he talks to Tim Floyd all the time, but he didn't ask him about any of the scandals that reportedly led to his resignation.

-- O'Neill said he knows everything going on, but he has no idea if probation or sanctions are coming.

Dan asked how O'Neill how he will recruit with the NCAA breathing down his back.

"It's going to be a challenge," O'Neill said. "But every school has questions about it."

O'Neill said that he didn't have any bad feelings toward Arizona despit their messy split.

"That was a difficult situation, at best, for everybody," O'Neill said. "When I left, I didn't say anything."
