The Syracuse head coach joined the show to help preview the NBA draft.

-- Boeheim is very high on former UConn center Hasheem Thabeet.

"I might take [Thabeet] if I had the first pick," Boeheim said.

Boeheim puts him in the same category with Alonzo Mourning, Patrick Ewing and other big-time seven-footers.

"He's never gonna score, but he can be a tremendous player defensively," Boeheim said.

-- Boeheim is not sold on Ricky Rubio.

"I don't know how good he defends ... how good he shoots it," Boeheim said.

-- Boeheim, however, does think his point guard, Jonny Flynn is NBA-ready and has the speed and skills to make a huge impact. Boeheim said Flynn is right there as the best competitor he's ever had.

"If they pass on him, I think they're going to be sorry," Boeheim said.

-- Boeheim also said that Greg Paulus might surprise people on the football field next season.
