Sen. Orrin Hatch joined the show to discuss his efforts to modify the BCS.
Hatch said that he is happy because he has raised a lot of attention about the public's issues with the way college football is set up over the last month. Hatch thinks the BCS is unfair, from a money standpoint and for other considerations.
"What's more important is that every team in the country, at least in Division I, should have a chance to play for the national title," Hatch said.
Hatch thinks the people that run the BCS should volunteer to change it before Congress or the courts have to get involved directly. Hatch says there are legal concerns, since we're talking about tax-exempt entities. There are anti-trust concerns.
