Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga joined the show to discuss life as a rookie.
-- Dan asked Rey if he was upset that he fell to the second round on draft day. "Then I was, but now, being in the city and being with the team, I've learned to overcome that and face the facts," Maualuga said.
Maualuga said he's trying to get past falling in the draft. "I'm going in there with a positive mind-set."
-- Maualuga said he was surprised the Bengals took him. He thought he was going to the Redskins or Chargers.
-- Dan asked Rey about Chad Ochocinco. "From what I've seen he's a great guy," Maualuga said. "He's a guy who speaks what's on his mind."
-- Maualuga said he saw Erin Andrews again last night and it was much more professional this time. (Maualuga was caught on tape dancing in EA's vicinity toward the end of a game last year.)
-- Dan asked Rey if coach Pete Carroll would ever join him and the other former Trojans in Cincy. Maualuga said Carroll is doing too well at USC.
