James Brown joined the show to discuss his interview with Michael Vick on 60 Minutes. Here are some highlights from his interview ...
-- Brown said there were no ground rules and he told Vick that it wasn't going to be a puff piece. Vick said fine, he wanted to answer the tough questions.
-- Brown said the one question he should have followed up on was when Vick said he "allowed" things to happen to the dogs. Brown said he wish he had followed up on that, since Vick killed dogs himself.
-- Dan asked Brown one thing that stood out to him about Vick's lifestyle. Brown said that he was surprised to hear about how many hangers-on were near Vick. Vick said that at one point there were 20 guys sleeping at Vick's house.
-- Brown said after his visit to Leavenworth to see Vick in jail, Brown thinks that his guilt is sincere.
-- Brown commented on when Vick admitted he was never a hard worker. Brown said that Vick could have been much better on the field and maybe -- although it's a long road -- he could develop into a much better quarterback.
