-- Dan asked Stewart if he's going to hire Danica Patrick next season.
"I have not made her an offer," Stewart said. "The one thing I have done is spend some time talking to her."
Stewart said that the two of them have evaluated how it would work. He thinks she should start in the Nationwide series instead of Sprint.
But Stewart said they don't have a Truck Series of Nationwide Series team, so that might be a problem.
-- Dan asked Stewart what he should put in his DirecTV mobile home. X-Box or Playstation with the game Rock Band. Stewart can't understand why Dan wouldn't want a stripper pole in the truck.
-- Stewart said he heard that Dan leaned on Jimmie Johnson's spoiler. "They're really sticky about who touches the car and having people around the car before a race," Stewart said.
But in the end, Tony told Dan not to worry about it.
"The actual reality of screwing up someone's car before a race is pretty hard. You have to remember, these things are designed to go 200 miles per hour," Stewart said.
-- Stewart said he thinks they have a great chance this year, but you have to have some luck, because you're not going against one opponent, like in a team sport. Stewart said that he's going against a lot of guys. "We have to put together 10 solid weeks to have a shot at it," Stewart said. |
