NBC's Tony Dungy joined the show to discuss Week 8 in the NFL and more.

Dungy had interesting comments on Jeff Fisher's decision to start Vince Young in Tennessee. Dungy said that Fisher and the Titans owner have probably talked behind closed doors and decided they weren't going to make the playoffs, so now is the time to see what they have in Young.

Dungy said that ight now the formula with Kerry Collins is not working. Dungy thinks that Young will make more mistakes than Collins, but Young will make a few more big plays.

Dungy, however, said we haven't seen Young in a while, so there's no guarantee he'll be his old self.

"The question is is he there mentally. Is he there emotionally?" Dungy said.

Dungy also had interesting comments on Tim Tebow. Dungy loves winners. He thinks Charlie Ward would have been a great NFL quarterback because he won at every level. Dungy said that Tebow is like that. He just wins, and that will translate to the NFL.

Dungy said if he ran St.  Louis, he'd draft Tebow high in the first round. "Franchise quarterbacks are hard to fine, and I believe in this guy," Dungy said.

Dan asked Dungy if Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy, Jake Locker and Jimmy Clausen were available, would he take Tebow over all of them. Dungy said yes, he'd take Tebow.

Dan asked Dungy what he would do with Larry Johnson in Kansas City. "If I'm them, right now, I'd get rid of Larry Johnson," Dungy said. "Larry Johnson is really trying to be a distraction."
