Cowboys wide receiver Patrick Crayton joined the show to discuss the latest news in the Big D.
Dan asked Crayton the best team in the NFC. He said the Saints. But the Cowboys are up there. "I do believe we're a top five NFL team," Crayton said.
Crayton explained the controversy when he let the world know that Miles Austin was starting over him. Crayton said that he spoke out a little because of his competitive juices.
Crayton said he thinks he can do anything -- catch everything ... play running back ... play safety ... play quarterback. He thinks he can do everything.
Crayton said that he has a lot of confidence in Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. "You gotta realize the microscope is going to be so much bigger on whoever is starting for the Dallas Cowboys," Crayton said.
Crayton said that the only comparable media coverage to Romo is Kobe Bryant or LeBron James.
Dan asked Patrick which was more gratifying – catching a touchdown or returning a punt for a touchdown. "Just about every fair catch I make, I'm usually pissed off," Crayton said.
There was some shenanigans going on behind Crayton in the Cowboys locker room. He said that Tashard Choice is the biggest jokester on the team. And the offensive lineman pull off some crazy practical jokes. But Crayton did say the new locker room is awesome. |
