Archie Griffin comments on Tim Tebow, Terrelle Pryor

Two-time Heisman winner Archie Griffin joined the show before joining Dan in Happy Valley for the Penn State-Ohio State game this weekend.
Griffin thinks that some day a freshman will win the Heisman. Griffin pointed to Tim Tebow winning it as a sophomore.
Griffin wouldn't tip his hand on the Heisman vote. He didn't seem to have a problem with Tebow matching his two trophies. But Griffin said something interesting about last year's vote. He said that Texas quarterback Colt McCoy was hurt because he didn't get to play in a conference championship game.
Griffin commented on current Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor. Griffin said that Pryor hasn't reached his potential yet, but he thinks Pryor will improve.
"I really believe Terrelle is going to be a great quarterback at Ohio State," Griffin said.
Griffin said that being a running back in college is different now because you don't have a fullback in front of you. |
