CBS college football commentator Gary Danielson stopped by to discuss the big issues in college football.

Danielson has one major issue with Heisman voting.

"Anybody who votes before championship Saturday ... that vote should be thrown out," Danielson said.

Danielson said that he guesses Alabama running back Mark Ingram is the front-runner, but it's still wide open.

Danielson said that Colt McCoy and Tim Tebow are still very much in contention for the Heisman.

Danielson also weighted in on our poll -- what should Jon Gruden do next year?

"I don't like the Notre Dame job if I'm Jon Gruden," Danielson said. Gary said that Gruden would be frustrated because he wouldn't be able to draw the best talent to South Bend. Danielson thinks Notre Dame needs to join a conference.

Danielson thinks Jim Harbaugh will be the hot name in college football circles next offseason, and could be a strong candidate for Notre Dame. But Danielson thinks that Harbaugh will have lots of options, including the NFL.

Danielson thinks that Notre Dame needs a somewhat gimmicky offense. Danielson likes Cincy's Brian Kelly and Georgia Tech's Paul Johnson because they can run unorthodox offense.

Dan also pointed out to that Kurt Warner became the first quarterback since Danielson to throw five interceptions in one game and five touchdowns in back-to-back games.
